Of Counsel Pamela A. Moore graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Furman University. She then earned her Juris Doctorate magna cum laude from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University. There, she served as Associate Editor at Large for the American Journal of Trial Advocacy. She also authored a published note on dram shop liability in Lee v. Kiku Restaurant. Her honors included the Dean’s Merit Scholarship, Curia Honoris, and the Edwin L. Rollison Award for Excellence in Writing.
Since 1996, Pamela’s legal practice has focused on business, insurance defense, and commercial litigation. This includes complex multi-state matters involving fraud, bad faith, and class actions. She also handles creditors’ rights, debt recovery, and related disputes. Her clients include hospitals, banks, consumer finance companies, and insurers. She provides services through litigation, negotiation, and appellate representation. These occur in state courts, U.S. District courts, and both state and federal appellate courts. Pamela became of counsel with McPhail Sanchez in 2025. In this role, she oversees Georgia-based commercial debt collection and creditors’ rights cases.
Pamela is licensed by the Alabama Bar, Florida Bar, Georgia Bar, Mississippi Bar, South Carolina Bar, and Tennessee Bar. She is admitted to practice in the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals and the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. She also holds an Alabama Insurance Adjuster License (Property & Casualty). Her experience spans litigation in multiple states.
Outside her legal practice, Pamela engages in community service and personal activities. She volunteers with the American Cancer Society through its Road to Recovery program, which provides transportation for cancer patients. She also supports the Reach to Recovery program, offering peer support for breast cancer survivors. Pamela organizes fundraisers for the American Cancer Society and Relay for Life events. As a runner, she participates in half marathons, 10Ks, and 5Ks to benefit local and regional nonprofit organizations. She is a graduate of the Area Agency on Aging Legacy Leadership Institute. She has also volunteered with the Alabama State Health Insurance Assistance Program, providing Medicare counseling, and Alabama Cares, supporting caregivers.
