Lauren C. Aiyer is a native of Mobile, Alabama. She attended Auburn University, where she graduated magna cum laude in 2017 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. Lauren then earned her Juris Doctor from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in 2020, where she received honors including Scholar of Merit awards in Jurisprudence and Foundations of Law, and served in leadership roles such as Treasurer of the American Constitution Society and Senior Member of the Trial Advocacy Board.

 

After law school, Lauren returned to Mobile and clerked for the Honorable Judge James T. Patterson in the 13th Judicial Circuit of Alabama. She began practicing in 2021 and has since developed extensive experience in civil litigation, focusing on insurance defense, construction defects, workers’ compensation, motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, personal injury, wrongful death, and complex commercial disputes. With a proven track record in the courtroom, Lauren has led multiple solo jury trials to verdict, second-chaired several additional jury trials, and handled numerous bench and district court trials. She has independently managed a substantial caseload of over 150 matters, skillfully conducting depositions, mediations, motions practice, and settlement negotiations to deliver strong results for clients. She is recognized as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers in civil litigation and workers’ compensation.

 

Lauren is admitted to practice in Alabama (2020) and the U.S. District Courts for the Southern, Middle, and Northern Districts of Alabama. She is an active member of the Mobile Bar Association, including its Young Lawyers Division and Women in Law Division.

 

She enjoys playing tennis, watching sports, traveling, socializing with friends, and spending time with family.
