Managing Litigation Attorney Ben Mayer graduated from the University of South Alabama in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a Minor in Chemistry. After graduation, Ben owned and operated a retail musical instrument business and was a touring musician. Benjamin attended Cumberland School of Law at Samford University, from which he graduated in 2014.
Ben began his legal career representing debtors in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy. In 2019, Ben became licensed to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office and has since utilized his background in science to represent inventors and entrepreneurs in his capacity as a solo practitioner prior to joining McPhail Sanchez, LLC. He has experience representing all manner of clients in both civil and criminal matters in both state and federal courts.
Ben is licensed under the Alabama Bar (2015). He is admitted to practice in the US District Courts for the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Alabama, along with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
Ben prides himself on being a problem-solver with an eye for creative solutions. His clients include both individuals and corporate entities. When not practicing law, Ben enjoys spending time with his wife and son.
